I was going to make a muggles comment about crossing the MOAT by stepping-stone, but thought better of it.
ERASEEVENS lol
Nice “one” Ben..

Oddly enough, the first thing I tried worked. Thanks Ben!

Had to reveal grid because I had FREEMAP instead of AREAMAP (Mallorca being an ISLE not isla, and NADF bewildering me… thinking maybe it’s the Aussie version of zip codes… National area destination finder??). For the meta, I had the right scent but the wrong tree for a while (just working with the numbered squares… then realized the 4 themers were so tortured there had to be a reason for it, et voilà! Seems like a fun but crazy one to construct!
lol saw EVENS but not ERASE. Did spend a few minutes looking at all the odd grid numbers, odd length entries, etc. Eventually refocused on the idea of themers and then of course saw it immediately. Fun one, thanks.

Go to this late, but had a fairly quick solve. I do think THIS OINK should be featured in the next Muppet Movie. Thanks for the puzzle, Ben!
First thing after I solved, I went back and checked the pillow. Nope, not there; must be under it! This was quick and fun! (I was helped by the quite even mathematics of 4x4=16.) Thanks, Ben!
Woosh. The title just made me assume there wouldn't be themers.
This was a really tough one.

As promised, that was easy. Thanks!

A nice quick one. And it included my favorite musicians (who don't get much love in America, despite being the most successful duo in UK music history).
Very nice. Not sure how I didn't get this one right away- had to come back to it a day later with fresh eyes! I swear I was looking at odd letters, but I think I didn't notice how they concatenated because I was including a few extra grid answers. Initially I was thrown off by the fact that there are 15 across answers with an odd number of letters- so close to 16- and maybe the central clue would get used twice. Nope!
