Musical Chair

Meta Prompt
The meta answer is a well known singer
This was not the original meta I had planned for today, but the other one was a bit harder and with this being Christmas week and all I thought I'd launch one that should (emphasis on should) be a bit easier for people who are busy with all the other things.
I want to wish EVERYONE the Merriest of holidays and my hope for a great year to come.
I would rate this a Kitten or at most a Calico
KITTEN
CALICO
Persian
Puma
Lion
I will try to post nudges, if needed Friday. The reveal will be delayed until Wednesday and, since I am traveling Wednesday, the Dec 27th MEOW will probably not be until Wednesday evening.
My thanks to Bird Lives who tested this puzzle
Hopefully they are not even needed, but here they are.
Nudges:
Nudge 1] Well obviously "music" is part of it. Do you see any well-known (and I suppose for the sake of argument, "retro") songs in the Grid?
Nudge 2] What is the more formal title for a "Chair"?
Nudge 3] Check out the fedora on the guy in front of the chair. Any singer famous for his fedora?
Nudge 4] Clues 50A and 65D were meant to be "Easter Eggs"
Nudge 5] Clue 50A was SUPPOSED to be "Pack animal" and somehow I changed it in editing - drat!
Nudge 6] If all else fails play the music shown on the graphic!
Reveal: There are seven songs named in the clues/grid, all from "Old Blue Eyes", the "Chairman of the Board", Frank Sinatra

I did get a little distracted by PAPA and TANGO.

You were thinking "Oh My Papa" and "It take two to Tango"? Well if I could have fit Julius LaRosa in the squares I would have!

Same to you. I'd sing you a Sinatra Christmas song but I have been specifically restrained from doing that by the Sinatra estate (and my wife)

I got a kick out of this one - thanks Tom and Happy Holidays! I suspected the answer immediately from the clever title. First letters of the relevant clues worked in very nicely.
                        • DrTom constructor · 2023-12-20T20:43:56.262Z
Well I'm pretty sure Old Blue Eyes said it himself:
I get no kick from the plain
Mere filling grids just puts me on the skids
But with a meta it’s true
That I get a kick out of you
                          Glad you enjoyed it!

Cool. A google search on "summer stood stupid" and a ... hmm, that seems to fit a few clues.
But is there a meta code to unravel or is it entirely a matter or finding the theme?
                          • DrTom constructor · 2023-12-20T18:27:03.416Z
Of course, I wouldn't want it to depend on luck being a lady or have you think it was witchcraft or something you would only find once in a blue moon. The first letter of the "meta" clues spell Sinatra. So technically you would not even have to solve the grid if you recognized that the meta clues were all very wonkily worded.
                            • DOrtiz 16:23 · 2023-12-20T18:38:22.823Z
There are some clues that follow a very specific format and the answer to those clues are all references to Sinatra songs "NYNY" "MYWAY" "Fly my to the MOON." The first letters of each of those clues spell out SINATRA.
                              • woozy 🤓12:50 · 2023-12-20T20:02:18.354Z
Ah... once I correctly guessed it never occurred to me the song entries would be the themers. Have no idea why not.

Got it from the entries without seeing the clue-first-letter elegance. Which is...ironic for reasons that will be clear soon. 😂 Fun stuff, thanks. Especially liked the 43D clue (though now I can't get the song out of my head). :)
