Whew! That was a little harder than I thought it would be! "Nice" comeback!

I saw BLANCHE and ROUGE almost straight away; the rest followed swiftly. But I did study French for 5 years, so that definitely helped!

A few entries trying to get the wording exactly correct and then hit on it. Thanks, woozy!

Touché ! Je ne parle pas français. But I saw enough to get started and lucky for me there's google translate for the rest. Nice!!

So there are 11 entries that mean something entirely different in French. (By mistake there is also ADORE which ... means the exact same thing in French, but as it doesn't mean something different it doesn't count. Taken together these words are LES DENTS DU CHAT SONT BLANCHES ET SON SANG EST ROUGE which gives the meta answer "THE CATS TEETH ARE WHITE AND HIS BLOOD IS RED"
I accepted CAT'S TEETH and TEETH OF THE CAT, and HIS and ITS. And I accepted the French but I intended for the answer to be in English.
I originally intended to have PIED and PAS and NESTLE (N'EST LE, which would have involved constructor's license a little beyond what is acceptable) but I like how what I have is a very smooth parse.

I initially translated it it as HIS blood because I had mistakenly assume the masculinity of the word SON reflected the masculinity of the word CHAT/cat (why it didn't occur to me that in english we'd say "its" I have no idea; maybe because my two cats are both boys) and I forgot that in possessives are basically adjectives and would reflect the gender of the object possessed-- not the possessor. So it was SON because of the SANG/blood which is masculine. (In French the SON/SA difference is of the endings but in english the his/her/its difference is in the root; in German they do both so they have about 8 or 12 possessives based on the gender of the possessor (root) the gender of the possessed (first ending) and the declination of the possessed (another ending)).
Log story short-- I added ITS/HIS/HER options to the acceptable answers.
