It's great to be back on MMM where I got my start creating meta puzzles over 2 years ago. So far I've constructed nearly 50 puzzles, and I'm hoping to make many more in the future. Speaking of "more", today's title - "But Wait, There's More!" - kinda fits all meta puzzles, but here it has a special meaning that I'm sure will be familiar to most solvers.
but wait there's more! nice aha moment with this one... some old commercials i can remember from my couch potato days: "set it and forget it"... "the shamwow/ slap chop guy"... "billy mays with oxi clean"... "jack lalanne power juicer"
Very nice. Some fill I don’t think I’ve seen, which given the sheer number of puzzles i do is pretty crazy.
I’m reminded of the Mitch Hedberg “2 easy payments and 1 complicated payment” routine. (If you look that up, there’s an f-bomb or 2 in there, so maybe not crank it up at work…)
Ah, Mitch Hedberg... enORmously talented guy. Thanks for the reminder. RIP Mitch...

Fun one, Cap’n! I got so excited remembering the old Ron Propiiel pitches that I just submitted a couple of phrases that usually followed! Ha, slowed down a bit and saw the letters “on TV”!! Thanks for a great puzzle !
Thanks, Elaine. If you take another look at the bottom middle section of the grid you'll see a lot of "ONs" there. They kinda step up to the ON that's on TV.
LOLOLOLOL probably my fastest-ever meta solve. Saw the title and thought 'oh, it would be fun to put AS SEEN over the letters TV to make AS SEEN ON TV. Need to add that to my meta idea list.' I didn't think to check to see if that's what was happening here, but as soon as I had ATVTRAIL in there it clicked. Nicely done sir. :)
Fun puzzle that I knew the answer to before I even started (I'm a gentleman of a certain age and have or had LOTS of those gadgets!!! Some even worked!! Veg-o-Matic, In the Egg Scrambler, Bedazzler, the Buttoneer,). Still I NEVER not fill out a Cap'n RIck because I know the cluing and answers are going to be too much fun to do that. As usual, I was not disappointed.
"and if you act right now we will include all of the snowflakes from the Billy Sunday storm. Just call 1-800-782-5377, remember 1-800-782-5377, that number, so you don't forget, 1-800-782-5377 but hurry the supply is limited and they are melting fast!!!"
