I too guessed by the title -- and by vaguely remembering, way back in 1966, that my older sister was all gung ho to see this movie. Weird, because I've never, in all my life, seen her get into the water. I'm guessing that the surfers were the attraction.

Fun Sunday AM diversion Peter. I found myself humming "Catch a wave and you're sittin on top of the world", entirely apropos because it was on the Beach Boys album "Endless Summer" (and "Surfer Girl" originally).

I remember Endless Summer, saw it in the summer of 1966 before starting college. But the film I remember better is Summer of 42 and the crush so many of us had on Jennifer O'neill - ah the innocence of youth.
