Will-Thanks for all the wonderful puzzles you have provided over the years. As Mel Brooks said "May the Schwartz be with you".

That took a while to see! Thanks Will, for all your contributions to my life. I stopped using your mug to wash the dog, by the way. Hope to see you on Zoom from time to time.

And ... we are done.
Sorry to see this end, it's been a solid ride. Not able to get 100% of them, but that's why they're interesting and challenging, and you learn from what you can't finish.

Perfect send-off. Bittersweet for sure. Best of luck in whatever is next and I hope we see more from you in this space someday!

Great puzzle! These have been some of my favorite Sunday moments for a long time, even if I don't usually figure out the metas. Thank you and good luck with whatever great things you do next!

Great title and message for your final puzzle Will...thanks for all the great metas over the last several years and for the important work you did in creating the Crosswords for Cancer project! All the best in your future.
Thanks for everything, Will, Emma, and Dani. The many hours you put in in order to give us years of fun is so appreciated. I was always blown away by the clever meta mechanisms that still had smooth grids. Having the opportunity to work with you as a guest constructor was such an amazing experience and I learned so much. I hope you'll keep us informed about any future projects in any field!
Very nicely done. Stared for a bit before the HEL trio popped out, then saw OFT and guessed it from there, which made spotting the others easy (not that it would have been hard, once I was looking for them). Thanks again for all your hard work!

So sorry it’s the end of the line, Will. Best to you and yours!
I had to look VERY hard to find it because I was sure it was going to be I AM NO LONGER (as in ASOFTODAY "I am no longer" AT THE HELM, Then I looked for word ladders (Title and LOFTS). I was delighted when my eye was drawn to the multiple letters (very CROWDED!) and I got the answer. Unfortunately that is my only delight today; we will miss you Professor, your mechanisms brought joy and amazement, so much so I'll forgive you for FORM ONE LINE on which I never got further than the first strand. Good luck my friend, and don't be a stranger.
I had the right concept but needed a fresh look to find the step-downs. A most fitting end to your run. Thank you for the enjoyment you've provided to me and many others with your metas.

Will--you have brought so much joy into the meta-verse in your century of puzzles and this finale is as elegantly smooth as it is apt. I just have to ask: did the title idea come first and inspire the whole mechanism? Best wishes for all your future holds!
Yes! Title first - then everything else fell into place. Thanks for solving! The creativity and consistency of your late-week notes were a much-appreciated staple of the comments sections!

I had never heard of the group Couch so listened to “Poems” on YouTube. Very catchy tune! Thanks for the puzzles, Will! Please keep us Muggles updated on your future endeavors, which hopefully include some meta puzzles (to solve and create)! Cheers!
This was the saddest I've ever been to solve a meta. I honestly just teared up while reading the comments...
I think you are one of the best meta constructors out there. Many of your puzzles are in my top 10 all-time favorites. Thanks for all the fun over the years!
