Greek To Me

Meta Prompt
Two-word phrase suggested by the title
This is an interesting puzzle because it was inspired by a different puzzle. Joe Ross (yes our Joe) got this idea and since he knows I have the computer program and a lot more time than he has, asked me if I would like to collaborate on a meta. Well if you know me, asking me to collaborate on a meta is like saying "Hey Tom, you want a beer/glass of wine?" Unless I have reached my limit (which I do with beer/wine but apparently not metas) I am going to say YES!!!
This will be at least a 2.5 and might be harder simply because even when you are done solving you are going to say, "What in the Hellenic is that?" Google will be the majority of solvers' friend this week". But hey, Mr. G has to eat too!
Good luck my little souvlaki lovers!

NUDGES:
Nudge 1] Are there clues that seem forced, or more exactly are there clues that seem to be Greek related and forced?
Nudge 2] The Greeks were all about beauty and symmetry, so is this puzzle - well the symmetry part at least
Nudge 3] OK, you got 6 letters wonder how you put them together to form two words - there might be a hint!!!
Nudge 4] Remember what we said about Google!!!
Nudge 5] If EVER there was a "READ THE TITLE" this is the puzzle

I enjoyed this as much as when I test solved. I did use Google back then. I am better at French than Greek, but not much. Thanks, Dr Tom!

My first submission was Σε μένα... should have allowed that 🤭

Wow you must have a special relationship with Crosshare, it was all I could do to get SE MENA in there!😀

Very straightforward, and the prompt suggested to me from the very beginning what it turned out to be. Still, fun to confirm it and test my memory of basic Greek mythology!

CLARIFICATION: The meta would be an easy solve except for the (!) & (2) by key clues, which threw me off. For any consttructors out there: please post your meta mechanisms here. You work so hard to make these puzzles, then never take the extra minute to explain it to those who couldn't crack it.

@ Mr Tex, the numbers were there to show which letters go in the first word or second word, for those of us who don't know Greek and needed to rely on Google translate. The first letters of the six Greek-related answers spelled SE MENA, which in Greek means "to me."

                    Thank you Schmidzy!

Of all the things the 1s and 2s could possibly mean, it never occurred to me to think of them in the way that was meant to be. I was an abashed woozy when someone pointed out what they meant. Pity with these translate ones you can't be 90% of the way or back solve. You can know "I have to translate S-E-M-E-N-A from greek to english" but if you didn't figure out the meaning of the numbers it won't do you any good.

Those pesky numbers! So obvious when it finally clicked..
                      Reminds me of a ‘riddle’ I read as a kid: 11 was a race horse, 22 was 12. 1111 race, 22112!

I coincidentally just listened to an episode of the great podcast "History of the English Language," in which the origin of your title phrase was discussed. It occurs in Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" (in Rome, Greek had the status that Latin and French would later have as lingua francas), but apparently the current opinion is that it or something like it was a common lament among literate but not classically educated medievals.
