    Really good meta, enjoyed it!

Thank you! I am so pleased. I'm still struggling with these so when I come out with anything even half way coherent it seems like an achievement.

Keep on keepin' on! It'll come easier and you'll get better and better! Thanks for the fun!

This was an excellent meta. Tricky grid, but an excellent meta!

Thank you. How do you think I could have mad the grid less tricky? (Well, I guess OTINA had to be hard and the 3D woozyism was atrocious; but were some clues harder than I intended? Just how commonly known are the U.C. Irvine Anteaters?)

My 2 cents. You had 7 themers, but only 2 of them had a partner as far as grid symmetry was concerned. The others all had to have their own "space" which left the grid with relatively large areas of crossed entries. More black squares would have solved this, but then you wouldn't have been able to get the themers in. One solution: pick themers of similar length so you can pair them up.

As an old Boomer who still collects comic books from the early ‘60s, I was in heaven with this puzzle. Thanks, woozy!
