- Laura M 🤓12:24 · 2022-10-25T10:03:51.846ZActually I had no idea if this would be right but I thought it was a likely answer! I did see the SCAREs in the corners, but from there to the answer was a bit of a... leap, so I suspect I missed a step :-)
- There are four grid entries that are missing SCARE. They have jumped into the corners to hide!

I never heard of any of those entries with or without the SCAREs, but you'd think that I could have tried looking them up, particularly since this is a meta and they were a little odd-looking... Excellent puzzle (which I shouldn't have tried to solve at 2 AM), thanks!
- If you were able to fill in the grid with just the downs for those entries, you did really well!

- Totally missed the jump destinations in the corners... clever! I got "jump scares" by simply jumping over the scares. Cool puzzle, Ben!
- I think that was my initial plan. But then I thought it would be more fun to have the SCAREs hiding in the corners.
