    Hopefully the clue for ABE
    17AFive[---]
works for you. "Fiver" would be better but I wanted only digits or their homophones in the theme clues. A "five" is the same thing as an ABE
    17AFive[---]
so it should still be fine.

It was a fun puzzle; I enjoyed it. I’m also going to criticize. The theme just dictates how you wrote the clues. So it doesn’t help solve the puzzle.
    • Heck that is clever. Damn! So good

Amazing interpretation of the theme, nicely done!

, and I learned something from the clue on TETRA
7DFish that gets its name from its square fins[-----]
          - always pleased to solve a crossword that leaves me (temporarily) smarter!

                    Geez, 1A
                    1AThree-point one?[-------]
threw me for a loop... but it was clever wordplay.
