Find the secret word hidden in this crossword puzzle! The 8-letter secret word is a topic learned in Mathematics. (Look for 4 hints in the clues.)
I created this meta for a year 7 (approx. 12-13 year-olds) maths games day. We gave a printout of the puzzle to each table of 4 students to see if they could complete the grid and find the hidden word. I tried to make the grid as easy as possible, and I provided some pretty strong hints for how to solve the meta, too. As a result, seasoned meta solvers will not find this at all challenging! But did any year 7 students solve it? They did indeed! At least two teams made it to the answer successfully.
