I had a big nudge. My brain just doesn’t naturally think that way. Thanks, Dr. T!

Great puzzle, Tom. (I was thrown a little bit by 60A, which had a Christmas themed clue, but didn't figure into the meta). Merry Christmas!

Yep, in retrospect I should have picked something else, I went "snow blind" trying to clue that in a way more people would know it.

After seeing the prompt and the constructor's name, I knew the answer and wasn't going to bother filling in the grid. I'm glad I did.. Why miss all the pun?

Okay... that was silly. But you probably should have had a different clue for 60A.
Tough one though. It's hard for me to think on so high a level.

I was stuck because I just couldn't get the first letter to 62A until I finally gave up and had Crosshare solve it. Then with that word fresh on my mind, when I looked back and saw 27A, I remembered that 62A was the name of one of his reindeer - and immediately thought of a Dr. Tom pun on "reindeer" that fit the title - and then it didn't take long to prove my hypothesis since I already had identified six possible theme words that were in the proper spots.
