Sounds Like A Job For...

The meta answer is a noted crimefighter
This is actually the FINAL version of a puzzle that I inadvertently published called "Sounds Like We Need" the answer to both is the same, but this is the, ostensibly, more polished version. Neither was particularly difficult but the answer is implied from the puzzle not explicitly spelled out. Pick your poison!
REVEAL:
The solve is built upon the "Sounds Like..." part of the title. It implies homophones and indeed there are 4 two named actors:
BEN AFLAC (AFFLECK)
MICHAEL KETONE (KEATON)
ADAM VEST (WEST)
GEORGE CLUNY (CLOONEY)
What these individuals have in common is that they all played the Dark Knight - BATMAN, which answers the meta question.
There are also little Easter Eggs: ROBIN, CAPE, SAGA (The Batman Saga)

    Thanks for the unannounced bonus puzzle. I had guessed from MICHAEL KETONE, ROBIN, and ADAM VEST. GEORGE CLUNEY confused me at first - I googled and found out he was indeed involved in a BATMAN movie. That was the piped ICING on the cake! Thanks for the fun. And now to go try the other version. Because it's there.

      Wondered about CAPE, then I got the rest from Cluny and Adam, but now I see the rest! Oddly, I had to reveal puzzle to finish, but all my letters were correct. Must be a software issue on my tablet. Thanks for the bonus Thursday fun.

        Cape and Robin were just Easter Eggs. I had more originally but was warned off them because they started to look like the mechanism not just reminiscent of the answer.

          Robin Smith was not part of it...to my knowledge Robin Smith never played Batman, but Ben Aflac (Affleck), George Cluny (Clooney), Adam Vest (West) and Michael Ketone (Keaton) did the homophonic names were indicated by the "Sounds like". The fact that ROBIN MOSS did not play Batman AND that it was not there as, for example, MOSH or MAUS should have been enough to eliminate him? Sorry if I confused you.

                    Yeah that is the level I was going for, I was kind of upset with myself that I did not make it private and it "slipped out". No worries, people seemed to liek it and I have another one for a Sunday coming up.
