Nice; I didn't notice that the ambiguous cells were at perfect square locations until after submitting, when I wondered whether you might have left an easter egg at the perfect squares. D'oh! Well done.
            • Mikey G constructor · about 1 month ago
Yep, that is the Easter egg itself! A bit circular, but I'll take it!

The more I think about it the cleverer that is.
By the way. I just bought a house (escrow closed Thurs and we pick up the keys tomorrow) and the most difficult part of any house buying is learning you damned new address. But my address is 7249. ... So I figured it'd be easy to remember that it is seven squared listed twice. (Seriously That's been in my mind for seven weeks)

I love address math like that!! Wild how this fits perfectly with your new address!

Nice one! In hindsight I should have guessed it much faster :-)

Took me two days to solve this one, and that's my favorite kind of meta. Very elegant, indeed!

Great puzzle! I had to come back to it (at least) seven times till I got it!

Loved this! It was a great hunt at the end. MRT was the last to fall.

Well I ALMOST had it the other day via a different mechanism, or at least I had the idea via a different mechanism. Very clever, and I had ALOE and AMS down originally and did NOT say to myself (stupid Tom) "hey that could be either!" . Clever idea, and very hard to see even when you see it (as I just made reference to). I'll go back now and find the rest, I only had three of them but it was almost intuitive what it would be once I had PEF and SQA.
