        It might be less obvious to some but in cryptics, "love" almost always means the letter O. The theme might not have been obvious enough hehe

          LOVEd it! The theme hit as I was working through the northeast corner, after having given up on the northeast. I'd started out with a string "O_" rebuses before realizing what the revealer was saying. Very clever and well-constructed!
