Meta Prompt
The answer to the meta is a 5-letter word
Look, I couldn't help myself: I hear people pronouncing 52 across wrongly and it grates a little! That was definitely the seed for this meta puzzle. Hopefully, you will be linguistically flexible enough to find your way to the answer, which is a 5-letter word. Answer & explanation: https://www.xword-muggles.com/viewtopic.php?p=129515#p129515
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here: https://www.ephesusscroll.com/about/interest4.html. US$10 gives you access to 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game. You won't quite know what to expect: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, sometimes all of those, and sometimes none! One thing is for sure, these are some of the more creative metas my brain has been able to come up with. And there's more: this time there's a mega-meta!

Was sure the answer was going to be upside-down :-)

It took me a minute to get "Strine" so I was very unsure about my translation here, but bonzer puzzle, mate! (Yeah no, I can't pull that off.)

            Sounds fine to me!

WOW! Apparently I can talk Strine. Or at least understand it. Fun one Ben - thanks!

Tricky. I just kept saying it out loud. Great puzzle, Ben!

I was imagining this happening! Were you overheard? People would have been wondering what you were up to! :D

Whew! I owe it all to the fact that you included CHOOB in the grid. Thanks, Ben!

Fun one, but I only got it on the third try. Strine is rowter deafcult to mouseter.

Got a tip from Ben to spell the 7 weird entries correctly, which I already had tried but just hadn’t chewed on the result long enough to recognize the word it sounded like. This was a fun challenge, and had me saying odd phrases out loud over and over (family already thinks this hobby has made me nuts, so….).

This is precisely the result I was going for! :D

Add this to the list of puzzles which have made me sound out syllables in the process of solving... Thanks, Ben!

Finally got it, but only after Ben kindly led me through each step. Clearly, I have some studying to do.

Finally in desperation I hallucinated the correct answer on my fourth answer entry (and at least a hundred attempts at transliteration) - 5 days after basically figuring out the mechanism. My enjoyment was long gone by then, unfortunately.
Nudges didn't really add anything to what I had already figured out, except the private nudge which confirmed that I needed to include 70A (I wasn't sure).
