A SAGA comic Tribute

Constructor's Note
This is a puzzle dedicated to my newest obsession the space opera comic book series, SAGA, by Fiona Staples and Brian Vaughan. It is arguably the first comic series I've ever read and I've devoured it and can't get it out of my head and some friends are reading it right now and I love it and I made this crossword with them in mind. For those who haven't read SAGA go get a copy, read it and then come back and solve this puzzle!!!! Just kidding ... kinda. Anyways, this is definitely going to be a hard solve for those unfamilar with the series. But you don't have to be up to date to solve it! You should be able to get all of the SAGA related clues having only read the first three issues. With that in mind, cheers and happy solving!
Despite my best efforts to make some of the other "niche" puzzles appropriate this one really might be impossible unless you're familiar with the content 😬😿🙈 forgive me.
