Such a fun way to start the week - and such a collaborative effort by a talented troupe of Muggles. I'm in awe of your cleverness and appreciative of your company.

We almost did overthink this one! Love the team effort!

Fun puzzle, and especially excellent cluing! Took too long because I stupidly circled “pace” instead of “muse” (well, it went with “stew,” right??). So I had AUGEPTODIN.

I KNEW it would be him -- I just needed to ruminate on it for a while!

Never in a million years without a nudge from Peter...

You got me. I needed the nudge. Fun. Love the answer.

So clever. I was an art history major in college & grad school but it still took me a while. Saw August but thought it was either the month or the adjective (with ER). Art historians don't usually think in terms of first & last names so it took me a minute. . . .

Awesome collab, loved the clues, metanism and answer! I definitely overthought it and needed the hints.

Clever. IMO “person” could have been “artist” without giving anything away. More “personal”, maybe? Just a thought. Fun puzzle.
We wrestled with that. Ultimate decision was having "think" with "artist" could lead one in an obvious direction.

Good point. It MIGHT have led some (not me) to the “Thinker” and Rodin but doubt it would have pointed to the “under” think metanism and Rodin’s full name. Was RODIN by itself accepted in Crosshare?
There should be an X in a white Circle at the top right part of the page. If that doesn’t work you can close and reopen. Your work should be saved.

I was looking for that to be the metanism, but I missed the "think" part until the 2nd nudge.

I meant the full list of clues not one at a time. I figured that the same option that let's me toggle from the grid to the full list of clues like I have when solving would still be there after I solve the grid, but the option goes away!
