Solvers! Thank you so much for trying my puzzle. If you enjoyed it, please leave a comment to let me know... and also, even more importantly, if you felt there was room for improvement, don't be afraid to say so (it's the only way I'll get any better, after all!)
I think a few of these are tricky, and - ahem - may be somewhat questionable. 14A14AGoodfellas? We heard they make clearances... (11)[-----------] and 18A18AStanding tall and plucky? (7)[-------] are just terrible puns, for which I apologise. My preemptive excuses are listed below:
    ACROSS
22A22A"Vote in the gunners!" - she's a complex and tragic figure (7)[-------]. Gunners = RA; Royal Artillery in the British armed forces.
23A23ADivine! Lose right to the blade (6)[------]. Divine = SCRY, subtract R; the THE is given.
    DOWN
6D6DOrgan of taste? (3)[---]. Double definition: EYE6DOrgan of taste? (3)[---] = taste, in the sense "you have a good eye"
7D7D"Lashed tuber?" - it's said to produce psychedelic patterns (3-3)[------]. The homophone is "Lashed tuber" = TIED + I. A kick for this would probably be well-deserved.
15D15DCoexist, swallowing initial concerns at entrance (7)[-------]. Co-exist = BE WITH... Noun/verb switch for "entrance", of course.
16D16DA small question of charity concerns (6)[------]. Small Question = QU + Charity = ALMS
Hopefully the others are clear enough, but as always, feel free to shout.

TIL: "Scry". Fun puzzle. I get how "lashed" is "tied" but how does "tuber" equals... D'Oh!

😁 Glad you enjoyed it. See https://crosshare.org/crosswords/URXUet4K0KHqa0o05miY/cryptic-7x7-1 for variations on this theme.
Not uncommon in UK newspaper cryptics where the setter uses a pseudonym (and many do.) In the more sober (and anonymous) Times crossword, you might come across "setter" standing for I or ME, etc.
