    I tried real hard to get rid of the UKASE, maybe not hard enough. I had UKSUB there for a bit, but couldn't come up with a way to clue it that made sense.

  Appreciate the theme density, but it may have been a detriment to the solve. The stacked themers made it challenging to find a foothold.

  I have to admit that my Star Trek knowledge is pretty superficial, so that definitely increased the challenge for me, but it wasn't too bad all things considered! Had to use a little Google here and there (I managed to put 18A together after a few crossers, but 25A eluded me), and I forgot my instrument names and had to check the puzzle to realize it was CELESTA and not CELESTE. I have to imagine this was a very nice treat for a true Trekkie, since even I still enjoyed it!

  Really nice! I was proud of myself for laying down SNOOPY with no hesitation, but then I realized it just means I'm ancient!
