Meta Prompt
The answer to the meta is four grid entries that need to be combined phonetically
While this puzzle focuses on gifts for that special someone, let's not forget that there are many different love languages including words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch to name the well-known ones. The answer to the meta is four grid entries that combine phonetically. Answer and explanation here: https://www.xword-muggles.com/viewtopic.php?p=82644#p82644
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here: https://www.ephesusscroll.com/about/interest4.html. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

Ben, I enjoyed this grid and meta. Very appropriate.

Lovely! A few Naticks in the grid for me, but knew the meta from 1A :-) Thanks for the puzzle!

I had to look up "Naticks"! Yes, there are a couple of obscure entries in the grid. I can't seem to get rid of all of them, no matter how hard I try!

Fun puzzle, as usual! Nice meta for February!

I submitted the 4 grid entries first. Nice puzzle!

I submitted the homophone, not its four components. That seemed to work. In any case, thank for the reminder; I now see what I have to go shop for.

Ah! I submitted the four separate entries first and got an "incorrect." Then I combined them, duh, and hit the leaderboard.

Yep. Me too. Puzzle wasn't explicit on which to submit.
