    I’m still new to this so maybe it’s not completely consistent with cryptic rules, but it should be a double definition (“future hero?” as in ZERO to HERO, and “that’s nothing” because ZERO = nothing)

  this was fun thanks! 2D back-solve took forever because i kept thinking the isle of exile and not the actor... so upset i didn't get Link!... that was a really good clue for HERO

  Great puzzle. Although I am not sure I agree with the intended parsing of 7A. "...aliens right and left", doesn't actually tell you to flip the last alien, i.e. it would clue an entry as follows: "ET______ET", not "ET______TE"

    The way I intended it is "ETIQU" as the QUITE jumble, then an ET going right, then an ET going left. But I can try to change the clue if needed.
