    amazing creativity possessed this awesome crossword! particularly the allusion CATS, provided the "a-ha!" connection. pretty terrific!

      that was exhausting just writing out two sentences of ACPT haha--i can't believe you managed to do this for all the clues! the [terrible] part of the clue for CATS made me laugh as i then had an aha moment of what the answer was. ROADSENSE is a great entry (and a great clue), and SEA honestly just felt like a normal clue without the ACPT restriction (if you overlook "[Tricky!]" haha). wonderful, wonderful work.

        Amazing cruciverbal production task! Very impressive!
        A few tiny notes:
        • 18A: the clue is A-P-C-T.
        • 28D: “tracheally” would be down the windpipe, which seems unpleasant. Maybe “throatily”?
        • 11A: Didn’t get why this was “ambiguous”.
        • 15D: Maybe change the last word to a place (like "(Tijuana)") or an attribution ("— Tomás")?
