Man's Best Friend

· By woozy · Published 2022-10-15T06:22:05.933Z

Meta Prompt
The answer to the meta is a word that describes man's best friend
Edit: I guess it's time for me to make this public. This one is very cute and easy (well, you may need to google but it will be fun googling!)
This was meant to clean up and tighten one of my very early puzzles, Take the Dogs for a Walk (https://crosshare.org/crosswords/yRx5mD6asLfzX9IUOge1/take-the-dogs-for-a-walk), but it turned into an entirely new different puzzle. It has the same theme but a completely different mechanism. I'd rate this puzzle a two or a three. Requires some specialized knowledge but nothing that isn't googleable.

Yes, it took a bit of googling, but that was a fun puzzle! Thanks, woozy.
