This is my actual submission for this month's midi contest. When I first checked the theme on discord, I didn't look at the date so my first puzzle (which is still a good one, go do it if you haven't already) was beautifully themed around SPACE instead of BACK TO SCHOOL. Hope you enjoyed them both!

Ohhhhhhhhh now I get it. I was like "What does ZERO G have to do with 'Back to School'??"
Fun take on the theme! As I learned when I made this one, once you figure out the first rebus, the rest are free, but I don't think that's a bad thing for when you're just going back to school :)

Yeah I wasn't sure whether or not to add circles because it does lower the difficulty a fair bit, but I chose to include them in the end for exactly that reason. Glad you liked it!

      Great puzzle. 35A
35A ADAM"Frankly, my dear, I don't give __", said one beaver to another
      was my favorite clue.

                  Nice! Little note on 1A
1A HUMOROne of four regulatory fluids, according to Hippocrates
though, "humor" was not one of the fluids but the general idea of there being four vital fluids, those being blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile. Otherwise, great puzzle!

I guess the clue is pretty ambiguous which I mean though ... maybe it should read "any of four regulatory fluids" to indicate them as a category? Or just "regulatory fluid"?
                    • zonkswonk constructor · 2 days ago
Were those four fluids not called humors according the the theory of humorism? I didn't mean to imply it was one, just that they were called that.
