The themers come from r/boneappletea, which is a subreddit about people who THINK they know how to spell things but are veeeery wrong. Named after some guy trying to spell "bon appétit" in a post.

            I have a friend who's a court reporter. She loves telling the story about a witness who once said the defendant had a "personal bandana" against her, and when the attorney questioned her she repeated it twice.
