lol - I saw that AFTER I solved. I didn't notice it on the way in I must have clicked by it too fast. I am not very observant up-front. Ok let's be honest, I am not very observant EVER. And once I was in the grid, it didn't occur to me to go back to the meta prompt. I wasn't even sure that was a one-square grid. So I just started typing, and when I realized it was one square it seemed easy enough to just type my way thru the alphabet. But your clues ARE spot on, once I saw them I knew exactly what to do!
