      AWESOME! Loved the clues for POLKADOT, ISTHISSEATTAKEN, and PRIMES. The NE corner was the toughest for me - but that’s because I massively overthought it. (Also it took me forever to see POLKADOT, even though I thought of “spot” in the clothing sense, because I had AAH (AHH?) for OHH and MINIS for MIDIS)
      You see, with ?A?EPI?? in place at 12D (the A was wrong but of course I didn’t know), I thought the clue was a devilish bit of misdirection (“like” used as a verb, so to like the dogs is to… HAVE PITY? TAKE PITY?). I was so wrong.
