Another fun one. I liked the two (four?) crossed answers.

Okay, I may be dense but that one escapes me.
            • Brian Callahan constructor · about 1 month ago
No, you're not dense. I was trying to find two answers that were pretty absurdly different, but the joke didn't land. However, if you can find something that these have in common, I'd definitely adjust the cluing. Who knows, maybe Doc Oc likes to drink diet soda?😂

Eh, I’ll take the L here. lol I had to look up Doc Oc. I think Coca Cola missed a great product placement opportunity.

Coke missed out. "SPIDERMAN. POP?" is actually an anagram of "PEPSI PRO? DAMN."

Triff! Just FYI: I stumbled over 7A
          7ASpidey foe[---------]
because I'm more used to Doc Ock, or Doctor Octopus. Super puzzle!
          • Brian Callahan constructor · about 1 month ago
Ha, thanks! Went with "Spidey" vs. "Spiderman" to try to hint at the shortening of "Doctor" to "Dr." But you're right, I think he is more traditionally referenced as Doctor Octopus or Doc Ock. Even though it's somewhat imperfect, I love putting a Spiderman reference into the puzzle. Appreciate the solve!
