    this was great!! one of the main problems with newspaper cryptics is the reference points are like 70 years out of date, so this was a fun solve. DOS

      thank you for the kind words! I agree about the newspaper reference points - since I started learning cryptics, I've learned more about cricket than I ever cared to know
