Well this puzzle was actually supposed to be for LAST Sunday and I got confused, well probably more confused. I knew I had a puzzle for 1/29 but forgot I had one for 12/1 as well and when the good Captain sent me a "hey you're up!" message I figured I got it wrong and I was the start of the month, not the end (or both).
At any rate I had "Done for Emphasis" ready for the 29th and pushed it to the 1st. Then I saw my calendar and realized I had this one for the 1st. No big deal, neither were date sensitive.
This puzzle should be:
Mill Pond
֎Gentle Ripple (water not the wine)
A Bit Choppy
Surfin' USA
Perfect Storm
It is a kind we have seen before where you must find two entries that, together, would fit the theme, but you guys are good, this should be smooth sailing. There are nudges with it and of course I am only a PM away. Thanks to Cap'n Rick and boharr who tested the puzzle, and to all of you who will spend some time this Sunday with me.
Oh, and since you are already here, why not take a minute to support this site that is so important to all our solving and posting efforts. Crosshare is free to use, but not free to run. A recurring donation would be wonderful, but even a one time donation helps keep it up and running. Come on now, you know you'd be sad if it was gone!!!

NUDGES:
Nudge 1] The theme answers are pretty clear from their length and silliness.
Nudge 2] Reading through them, and taking the Title into account, does anything pop out at you?
Nudge 3] Actually do TWO things pop out at you?
Nudge 4] Did you see that all of the theme answers were the same length, might that narrow down the choices for the last member of the group?
Nudge 5] Think University of Florida football 2005-2010
The REVEAL:
There are four, rather oddly worded, theme answers. The solver was tasked with finding two other entries that could have been a fifth theme answer.
Each theme answer is 11 letters long and has two body parts hidden inside it.
F LIP PEDC HIP
CL EAR VE TOE S
E LEG ANTC RIB
GUT TERCH ARM
A 5 letter entry (URCHIN) and a 6 letter entry (MEYER) each have one body part in them, the answer therefore is URCHIN MEYER....who was NOT the University of Florida and Ohio State football coach...but I think he was his kind of raggedy brother.
META ANSWER: URCHINMEYER
