Whew! Grid was tough but as you said the "answer" becomes evident soon enough. Kicking myself because I finally hit "reveal" because I was not getting the grid 100%, and it turned out the one square that was wrong was just a typo.
I've heard of Tintin but never read any of the books - I found them online (at internet archive) and will check out a few. Thanks for the puzzle!
