Meta Prompt
The answer to the meta is something America has a lot of
Ah, "The Gift" This one was made almost a year ago and has been sitting around waiting for a chance to be "given". Al Sisti and Meg test drove it then (thanks guys!) but they may have forgotten it by now. I am lucky enough to have a number of puzzles "in the bank" so there should never be the problem of not getting one to you on a MEOW day.
I would say that, depending on your particular knowledge base, this will be at least a Persian and may well be a Puma to some. The answer is not inferred (thanks Tom, we HATE inferred answers) and I think is pretty tight with the "theme" but that will remain to be seen.

Goodness I never thought this would be so difficult because it seemed that everyone was MUCH better in this area than me when it came up in puzzles. Shows you what I know.
Nudge 1] You saw my Early Release Nudge and hopefully have determined who that girl is. Now, is she anywhere else?
Nudge 2] Are any of her colleagues around as well?
Nudge 3] The first letters of their names spell nothing, they do not have other meanings, surely there is SOMETHING in the puzzle that they tie to!
Nudge 4] When you are finally half blind from scouring the grid to find the tie in, why not take a break and look somewhere else - like where?
Nudge 5] Once you have done that the finish line is in sight, one more obvious step to the 6 letter answer!
The REVEAL:
There are 6 singers symmetrically hidden in the grid, clued of course as different things. Each of those singers has one of their well-known songs as the start to a clue. If you take the first letter of the answer ot that clue you spell out the meta answer TALENT:
