Nifty! Before parsing it correctly, I was reminded of "Old Man Yells at Cloud"

It's like a mystery novel. All the clues are there, but you don't realize what they're doing till you've solved it and then go back and read it from the beginning. For me, the first one was BUB instead of BUS to ger REBOUND instead of RESOUND. I wonder who'll have more fun -- solvers in solving or constuctors in constructing.

Nice one "Clark". I was sitting around the basement with a group of my friends playing Halo and doing Jaeger shots while also working on the puzzle (who says we can't multi-task). I was stumped because I got BOOMER but knew that wasn't enough (who says we can't add). All of a sudden my Mom started stomping on the kitchen floor and screaming (a tirade no doubt) something about all us ne'er-do-wells hanging around, eating her food and drinking her booze and the answer hit me.

I have to admit the elegance did not hit me until I read the comments - never tumbled to REBOUND ANIMOSITY. Oh. and the intro PRICELESS. I was chuckling so hard I did not see all the nudges towards the answer. A pleasant Sunday (even though I did it today) experience.
