thanks for giving it a shot! with GREETED i was going for "back part of shed" = ED, after GR + TEE (as in tee shirt) backwards. maybe GR for Greek was a bit of a stretch in retrospect? i found it on here (https://bestforpuzzles.com/cryptic-crossword-dictionary/g.html), but idk how common it actually is lol
