    Love it!
    • DJB 3s · 2022-07-30T22:14:49.595Z
This was great! Spent a while trying to force a number out of the second word in each themer before coming back to the title, which provided the perfect clue to the correct path!

I think this is definitely a case of the title being huge. This might be the fourth iteration, after "Not Much Goes Into It," "This Factors Into It," and "Almost Prime Time." As much as I would've loved all the letters to spell out the meta answer in the right order, I figure the fact that I got the overlapping D's to work out nicely with a semi-relevant word is worth the one "switcheroo" on the 39, I think.

Am I too old to enroll in your remedial math course?

Those math courses really make sum difference!

Despite the fact that I haven't taken a math class in 54 years, some knowledge must have stuck. I may not be as lucky next time.

Sine me up four that remedial math course, two. Finally nudged over on this fantastic meta!

Nice one. And phew, glad to get it out of the way even if it took nudges. I was factoring all kinds of numbers, but I hadn't figured out to connect the second themer words to numbers, and even when I finally did, I was 27 steps short.
                  • spotter 🤓11:42 · 2022-08-04T18:16:21.739Z
                    27 Steps short indeed

Just happy with myself that I finally got it before the Friday nudge! Very intricate! -- Thanks, Mikey!

Great puzzle. Hard. I don't think I can call it a solve for me as the final nudge was a whack with a two by four.

Terrific puzzle, Mikey! I’d rate it as WSJCC and MGWCC-worthy. My wife Lynne, a retired math teacher, suggested the method. I guess it helps to have her around!🙂
