Constructor's Note
Confession time: I thought these were the first and last words of -- well, you'll see -- however, upon revisiting my copy of the latest edition, I realized there's actually one more after 41A! I don't have an older version on hand, so for you die-hard fans out there, can someone let me know in the comments whether it was added recently, or if it's been there all along and my [redacted]-studying younger self chose to ignore it and head-canon my own preferred final word? Either way, I still really like the word, and I hope you do too.

sorry i meant 3rd addition (1996) didn't have ZZZ, but 4th addition (2005) does... i googled and found a partial new words list here: https://scrabble.wonderhowto.com/news/possible-new-scrabble-words-0115304/

That must be the edition I grew up with then! Thanks for indulging my nerdy side and dredging up that tidbit!

I don't remember which edition added ZZZ... i want to say 5th or 6th edition? i remember when QI and ZA got added it was such a game changer - that was the 4th edition which is the one i have at home and 41A is still the last entry! i was wondering why it wasn't 43 points, but then i forgot you had to use two blanks for it... fun puzzle!! :)
