This puzzle is a feat of construction and I am in awe of it! That being said, there's a balance of accessible challenge (good!) with the reality that if you're going to be implementing theme fill such as this that a solver will either knows or doesn't, the clues for all intersecting fill need to be adjusted in service of any squares in said theme fill that would otherwise not be inferable. This way you aren't compounding the challenge present so much as you're allowing a way in for people to rise to said challenge. Looking forward to solving more of your work!
