      Very nice, thank you! Those spanners were definitely good reasons to go wide. And when I (finally) figured out 12D that was hilarious. Lots of other good bonus entries too. I never knew about the abbreviations in 54D so that was cool. (I still don’t know what 15D is… if any part was rougher for me it was the NE.)

        Thanks, Sendhil! 54D isn't wonderful but I had no choice and didn't want to clue it as an abbreviation for STREETS. 15D stands for Electronic Serial Numbers. Again, cringeworthy fill but all for a good cause, I hope.
