    That was fun. But to overthink things a bit, is it really accurate to say that EMCEE is abbreviated to two letters? M.C. is an abbreviation for "Master of ceremonies", but I would argue that it's technically not an abbreviation for "emcee", which is just a respelling of the abbreviation. :)

      interesting, i didn't consider that! i've changed the clue to "Host of an event / alternatively spelled with / only two letters" which i think is more accurate?
