The instructions tell you to "Scour the clues" - maybe check for any names that might be hidden between the words?
You should be able to find 5 suspects, 5 weapons, and 8 rooms - the missing elements from each set reveal the details of the murder.

Legitimately one of the most clever crosswords I've ever played, amazing!!! Once I saw "Scar let" I knew something was up, but I didn't expect so much more. I felt like a real detective checking off suspects and finding the answer :D
