Constructor's Note
The regular layout means there's too many cryptic clues for me to write. I've got the last four answers picked out, so mind filling in those clues for me? Thanks. (Apologies to actual cryptic fans, I'm probably not conforming to a lot of standards here. Some is intentional, much is probably not.)
For anyone wondering why I haven't posted in a long time (at least by my standards), I've been busy moving across the country for a new job. It'll be a little while longer before I'm settled and I certainly won't have as much time to make crosswords, but hopefully I can settle into a weekly schedule or something. In the meantime, enjoy this crossword that's honestly not that great as a cryptic but which is hopefully still fun.

    From a hardline cryptic perspective, yeah, some of the clues were loose (or used indirect anagrams), but I found that kind of refreshing; what is this space if not to play around with words and find what works for you?
    On that note, I really liked 17A, 28A, 6D, and 8D. Thanks for the puzzle!

      So much fun! This is one reason I dislike rigid adherence to so-called conventions in cryptics - it gets in the way of creative constructions like this. Also loved the reveng spanners! Wishing you all the best in your move
