Great puzzle, Will! While it may look like I'm solving the grid instantaneously, I'm obviously not - I sometimes solve on paper, reveal the grid, then enter the meta answer. Thrilled you're back!

This was a lot of fun, especially on a cold windy afternoon. Nicely done!

Great puzzle, Will! I figured out step 1 right away, but it took me all day to figure out what to do with the "hints".

Well that was creative! I assumed for a long time that “hints” referred to the extra parenthetical words in some of the clues, so for a long time I was trying to make something out of the sixth letter from each of those (GFEIG), or from the sixth spot in those IF you removed all the A-B-C-D-E-F-G letters. Then I realized you couldn’t have used the (normal) word CLUES (rather than HINTS) in part A because of it containing C and E. duh. Fun solve!

What an intricate meta! We didn't get caught in any rabbit holes, but it took some trial and error to find how to parse the "sixth spots" in the "hints". It required paper and pen in the end. Lots of fun! Thanks, Will & Pandora team! We look forward to next week's challenge

had a few nudges from Will, wow, and it helps to (a) cross off a G that you know isn't in the 'path' and (b) not ignore an "S" that is in the 'path'. Once I realized that S was there, I then found the right way to it - yes, "challenging", but not a Gaffney week 5, thank heavens.

It is funny how when your very first idea -an idea you had even before starting the solve- works, a challenging meta becomes one of your fastest solves ever. Great puzzle though, I didn't think the second step would actually work even though the instructions were very clear lol.
