Constructor's Note: This was my original idea for the September 2022 midi competition, but my informal editor deemed it too off-theme, and also questioned my choice in names.

“Too off-theme” and yet the winner of the “love” contest was about stars, and the winner of the “banana” contest was about scales. Still, props for coming up with TWO ideas.

Nice! I'm a bit confused, though; is YOWL
      36A YOWL35A, but for a dog
      supposed to be self-referential?

Oops! T. G. had it - the clue for 36A
        36A YOWL35A, but for a dog
was means to refer to 35A
        35A SINGWarble
        . Corrected it now, thanks!

This was super fun! I think it was a great take on the theme. Also, your 36a is self-referential, I think it's supposed to be pointing at 35a.
