The ABACDC pattern is basically two 3-letter palindromes put together that don't share any letters between them. When I first attempted this theme, I only had two words I could think of: CICADA & ABASES. In the comments of that post, takingSolace came up with IRISES, GIGOLO, & POPEYE and kieranjboyd came up with PEPSIS, IBISES, USURER, & MRMOTO (Mr. Moto). I made this new grid to include the entries I thought were most solver-friendly, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! Let me know if y'all can find any other words that fit this pattern!!!
Note: words like SASSES, SESTET, and PAPAYA are comprised of two 3-letter palindromes, but don't fit the ABACDC criteria because they repeat/share letters between the palindromes (e.g. SASSES has an ABAACA letter pattern, and PAPAYA is ABABCB)
