    Fun, if quite challenging for me. I was misdirected by my limited knowledge on the subjects of a few clues — I never thought of ELOISE as a "brat", didn't know ANKARA was elevated, and didn't conceive of a TRENCH as being in "no man's land" but rather on either side (which is wholly consistent with the clue). Thanks for the workout!
