      I'd say the "fun" of 16A depends on who's "marrying" her, but I was happy to learn this term. 11D caught me for a long time (was looking at the ends of "life" not "as life") and 15D's doubly loose definitions also tripped me up. Really liked 6D, 7D, 1A, and 9A. Good stuff!

        Thanks! 9A was probably my favourite. For 7D, I considered replacing 'a tan' with something indirect like 'a brown colour', but it just read so much better the way it is.
