            I forgot to mention that I met him once. He used to live in or near Tampa, and he came to St. Pete for a sort of stand-up routine only crossword solvers would understand. It was a hoot!

                                      Just for the record, there is a typo in 68D. It should be CTRL. I only mention this because typos in metas can be unintentional red herrings.
