Picked this grid from the Crosserville gallery. I have tried to fix as much glue as possible without the grid falling apart, while trying to lean away from proper nouns and obscurities especially to avoid hard crossings, but test-solving one's own puzzles is of limited value. So as usual, would love any feedback! Hope you enjoy. Cover photo by Kelsey Todd on Unsplash.

Nice! Regarding 36A, although glutamate is a powerful inducer of umami, there are other amino acids and nucleotides that activate it ( https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35301715/ )
Thanks so much for solving and for your comments! (The clue for 22D was from my fevered mind, while 21A and 32D were drawn from prior puzzles thanks to Crosserville.)
25A was definitely an intentional misdirect, so good to know that it hit its mark. I revised the clue to 3D per your feedback but am still struggling with it; I said "familiar" because I was thinking it's more of an informal name, but now I am realizing that T. rex is actually the full binomial name. Further thoughts definitely appreciated!
Thank you! I had a challenge cluing that, and settled for one that apparently had been used before, but it also rankled a bit. Does "was plentiful" fix it?
One tidbit, since no one has noted it in the comments yet: my seed entries were 10D and 22D (which I found by looking for words that included "BUTT"). You're welcome
