Continental Divide and Conquer

Meta Prompt
The answer to the meta is a six letter word
This one was incredibly difficult to construct. The metanism required lots of parts and they all refused to cooperate. I was ready to give up when... I finally got all the pieces to fit (although the lower left corner has a lot of stretches and abusing-- 84A84AI think this would be an awesome name for a spy adventure series for kids: "--- ------ and The Nui Magnet" in which our protagonist under the code-name Sean Macepit discovers the title weapon was just an anagram of his name. Pity no such book actually exists and this is just a long woozyism[---------] is a complete abuse but I hope I get some points for creativity.)
In all though, It was a title that needed to be done. (Inspired by benchen71's Earthquake Zone https://crosshare.org/crosswords/AXLVWCQy3UMjOyOfwx6M/earthquake-zone-meta)
The original title was "Continental Drift". I still prefer that title. But this is a fairly tough one and I figure the solver can use any break. (EDIT: I have since revised the title from "Continental Divide" to "Continental Divide and Conquer" and I like this third title the best.
